If you all remember, a little more than a month ago a friend of mine, Tanya Mitra, died on Nov. 4, the eve of her 25th birthday.
Tanya was an amazing person but above all she dreamed of being a doctor and helping people all over the world. But now, since she will not be able to complete her dream, her family set up a scholarship for premedical students at Tufts University in her name to help continue her dream of helping people.
Please help us continue Tanya’s dream.

Thinking I’m gonna stop tumblrin.
Just because reading is one of the things that I used to transport myself from this sometimes shitty world to a different one.
Also the porn popping up on my dash when in public places.
But I still have things I want/need to do. And Tumblr sometimes gets in the way.
It was definitely way too much fun. So I don’t know if I’ll be gone for long.
But I’m thinking of not really posting much anymore.

The most Powerful scene of the whole series.
This scene is so beautiful to me because it’s one of those things the writers put in for the older viewers despite the overwhelming younger demographic, but instead of some kind of sexual joke, it’s an actually powerful wake-up call.
Just because someone is of the same blood as you, doesn’t mean you automatically have to love them. Your family needs to earn your love and respect, not mandate it due to the presence of mutual genes. And I think that’s something a lot of us don’t realize until we’re older, and it’s a bit too late.
